We charge according to time spent on job, we have various options according to your needs. We charge from the time we arrive at your place until we finish the job at your destination.
We don’t have any extra charges in our serving areas, if you are moving away from Melbourne, or are located quite far from us there might be a nominal fuel levy. We will let you know about all your expenses at the time you book your job, so don’t have any surprises later on.
We are here to help you with all your needs, we do provide packing and unpacking services.
Our trucks have trolley, blankets, ropes, ratchets and basic tool box in case any assembling or disassembling is needed. Although flat trolley, power tools, carrying straps may be provided if requested by customer. We try not to carry too many tools in our vehicles that we don’t often use, as that space can be used for your stuff but can be provided on request.
You can provide us an itemized list of your stuff and we can suggest you on what kind of vehicle you should book. Three things you should consider before deciding what size of truck you need:
How much furniture do you have
How far are you travelling to your new house
What kind of access you have i.e. the truck you are booking would it fit in your driveway or do you have enough space for it to park close enough to your house for easy loading or unloading.
Our staff will take utmost care of your stuff and do their best to safely transport your stuff. We do have public liability insurance to protect our customers against accidents. We do not charge extra each time for this coverage, only a excess payments of $500 applies to customer in case of a claim. Coverage details are as follows :
- Upto $10000 for any damages to goods in transit due to truck accident, fire (excess payment of $500 applies to customer)
- Upto 2 million compensation for public liability claims.
Goods in transit insurance doesn’tcomes automatically. Although we will take best possible care of your stuff, but because of nature of work there might be situations that put your stuff at risk. So, for protection of your belongings we advise you to arrange Goods In Transit insurance prior to your move. We can help you in guiding which companies you can contact to get this insurance.
